Ivan Sirakov was one of the victims of nationalization at the beginning of the communist regime in the People’s Republic of Bulgaria / PRC /. He was declared a „class enemy“, persecuted and punished as a descendant of vigilant Bulgarian industrialists, killed without trial immediately after September 9, 1944. The only surviving former camper who passed through four concentration camps – „Kutsian“, mine „Nikolaevo“, “ Bogdanov Dol „and“ Belene „, Ivan Sirakov was released on September 9, 1949 and deported forever to the town of Byala, from where he fled to Austria.
